We’re pleased to announce that Dick Costolo, Group Product Manager for the Ads Team at Google, will deliver the opening address, The Next Content Wave: Hypersyndication, June 17, 2008 at Web Content 2008 Chicago. Costolo previously served as CEO of FeedBurner, which was acquired in 2007 by Google.

Costolo says the explosion of AJAX, widgets, and a host of social media sites and tools, has made it increasingly important for content providers to atomize and distribute content so it can receive the largest amount of exposure possible. His keynote address will focus on the future of content distribution and the concept of hypersyndication. Audience members will learn how hypersyndication will impact how we build audience, what it means to be a publisher, what the emerging business models are, and how content flows to the right people and places without cannibalizing the content provider’s brand.
